Kin Lock Terms of Service

Welcome to Kin Lock, a product of JWN Limited, LLC. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Kin Lock family safety and parental control applications, websites, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By creating an account, downloading our applications, or otherwise using our Services, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

1. Company Information

Kin Lock is owned and operated by JWN Limited, LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). All references to "Kin Lock" in these Terms refer to the products and services provided by JWN Limited, LLC.

2. Eligibility and Account Registration

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement to use our Services. By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

Account Security

When you create an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Keep your login credentials confidential and secure
• Accept responsibility for all activities occurring under your account
• Notify us immediately at support@kinlockapp.com if you suspect unauthorized access

3. Description of Services

Kin Lock provides comprehensive family safety and parental control solutions, including but not limited to:

• Device Monitoring: Real-time activity tracking and usage analytics
• App Management: Application blocking, filtering, and usage controls
• Screen Time: Customizable time limits and scheduling
• Location Services: GPS tracking, geofencing, and location history
• Content Filtering: Web content filtering and safe browsing
• Reporting: Detailed activity reports and usage insights
• Family Communication: Secure messaging and notification features

We reserve the right to modify, enhance, or discontinue any feature at our discretion with reasonable notice to users.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

Our Services are designed exclusively for lawful family safety and parental monitoring purposes. You agree that you will not:

• Use the Services for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose
• Monitor any individual without proper legal authority or consent as required by applicable law
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from our applications
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features of the Services
• Use the Services to stalk, harass, or intimidate any person
• Transmit malware, viruses, or any destructive code through the Services
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Services without written authorization
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Services

5. Subscription Plans and Payment

Free Tier

Kin Lock offers a free tier with limited features and device support. Free accounts are subject to feature restrictions and usage quotas.

Premium Subscriptions

Premium features are available through paid subscription plans. By subscribing, you agree to the following:

• Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled prior to renewal
• Payment is processed securely through Google Play, Apple App Store, or other authorized payment processors
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your app store account settings
• Refunds are handled in accordance with the applicable app store's refund policy
• We may adjust pricing with at least 30 days' written notice; continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance

6. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy and the privacy of your family are fundamental to our Services. Our collection, use, storage, and disclosure of personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into and forms part of these Terms.

7. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Kin Lock Services — including software, designs, logos, trademarks, trade names, documentation, and all related intellectual property — are and shall remain the exclusive property of JWN Limited, LLC. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services solely for their intended purpose. You may not:

• Copy, modify, adapt, or create derivative works of any part of the Services
• Use Kin Lock branding, logos, or trademarks without prior written consent
• Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices or labels

8. User Content and Data Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to the data and content you submit through the Services. By using our Services, you grant JWN Limited, LLC a limited license to process and store your data solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Services. We will never sell your personal data to third parties.

9. Service Availability

While we strive to maintain high availability, we do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. Scheduled maintenance, updates, and unforeseen technical issues may cause temporary interruptions. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime in advance.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, JWN LIMITED, LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities
• Damages arising from unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
• Damages resulting from any third-party conduct or content
• Service interruptions, delays, or failures beyond our reasonable control

In no event shall our aggregate liability exceed the total amount you paid to us for the Services during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. JWN LIMITED, LLC DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL MEET YOUR SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS OR EXPECTATIONS.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless JWN Limited, LLC, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:

• Your use or misuse of the Services
• Your violation of these Terms or any applicable law
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Any content or data you submit through the Services

13. Termination

By You

You may terminate your account at any time by using the account deletion feature within the application or by contacting our support team at support@kinlockapp.com. Upon termination, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

By Us

JWN Limited, LLC reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe that you have:

• Violated any provision of these Terms
• Engaged in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
• Failed to pay for premium Services when due
• Created a security risk or legal liability for the Company or other users

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved as follows:

1. Informal Resolution: The parties shall first attempt to resolve any dispute through good faith negotiations for a period of thirty (30) days
2. Mediation: If informal resolution fails, the parties agree to participate in non-binding mediation
3. Binding Arbitration: Any unresolved dispute shall be settled by binding arbitration administered in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association

Class Action Waiver: You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted on an individual basis and not as part of a class, consolidated, or representative action.

15. Modifications to Terms

JWN Limited, LLC reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will:

• Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
• Provide notice through the application via push notification or in-app message
• Send an email notification to registered users when feasible

Your continued use of the Services following the posting of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of such changes.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving its original intent.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy and any supplemental terms or policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and JWN Limited, LLC regarding your use of the Kin Lock Services, superseding any prior agreements or understandings.
