This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our family safety and parental control applications ("Services"), including the Kin Lock Parent App, Kin Lock Child App, and all related Pro versions, available on Android and iOS platforms.

  • Accessibility Service Data: On child devices where the Accessibility Service is enabled, we collect app activity data necessary for app blocking and content filtering features

Kin Lock is a family safety application designed to be set up and managed by parents or legal guardians. We take children's privacy seriously:

  • Parental Consent Required: A parent or legal guardian must create the account and configure child devices. We do not allow children to create accounts independently
  • No Direct Collection from Children: We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. All data collection on child devices is initiated and controlled by the parent account
  • Limited Data Use: Data collected from child devices is used exclusively for the family safety features configured by the parent
  • Parental Control: Parents have full visibility into and control over all data collected from their child's device, including the ability to delete it at any time
  • COPPA Compliance: Our practices comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar international regulations
